APEX Accelerator offices in Michigan are not-for-profit organizations made up of regional offices located throughout the state. Created in 1983, West Michigan APEX Accelerator (formally PTAC) has been facilitating community economic development and growth in region 4 through a continually improving program of training and business services.
This APEX Accelerator is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense. Additionally, the West Michigan APEX Accelerator is funded in part by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).
This APEX Accelerator is proudly hosted by Greater Muskegon Economic Development.
Mission
Our mission is to enhance national defense and economic development in the State of Michigan by assisting Michigan businesses in obtaining and performing on federal, state and local government contracts.
Service Region
West Michigan APEX Accelerator provides government contracting assistance to businesses of all sizes in a 13-county service area that includes: Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kent, Lake, Mason, Mecosta, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, Osceola, and Ottawa.
